Kitchen Screen Settings

To create an Order Ready Display, see Create Order Ready Display.

To define settings for a kitchen screen:

  1. From the Kitchen Settings menu, select Kitchen Screen Settings.

  2. (Optional) From the upper-right of the screen, select Select Sites to choose sites for the update.

  3. From the Kitchen Screen Settings screen, select Create Kitchen Screen.

  4. From the Choose Screen Type popup, select Basic.

  5. Select Continue.

  6. From the menu pane on the left, select a page and define the respective settings.

    The following introduces the pages of the Kitchen Screen Settings editor.




    Define General Settings.


    Set the Active toggle to Active if the record is available for use at the site.

    Multi-site users: To the right of the field, select the globe icon to define values for each site.


    Define Kitchen Cell Settings.


    Define Kitchen Screen Filters. These filters determine the type of order items to route to this screen.

    Ingredient Filters

    Define Ingredient Filters. These filters determine the type of order item ingredients to route to the Ingredient Summary Pane.

    If no ingredient filters are defined, the sum of all ingredients from all screens are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane.

    Sorting Rules

    Define custom screen sort rules. See Sorting Rules.


    Define settings related to the bumping of orders from this screen. See Bump Settings.


    Define settings related to the recalling of bumped orders to this screen. See Recall Settings.


    Define Audio Settings. These settings define the audio files to play when specific events occur on the screen.

  7. From the Sorting Rules page, define custom screen sort options. See Sorting Rules.
