Commission Rates

The Commission Rates module enables the ability to view, add, edit, and delete commission rates based on major product categories, minor product categories, and product items.
Commission Rate Permissions

The Commission Rate module has the following permissions:
Permission | Description |

View | View commission rate |
Add | Create a new commission rate |
Edit | Edit an existing commission rate |
Delete | Delete a saved commission rate |

Commission Rate List

From the Commission Rate List:
View a list of all existing commission rates.
Search and/or sort commission rates.
Arrange columns by dragging and dropping the column.
To edit a commission rate, select the commission rate directly or select the checkbox to the left of the commission rate to use the Actions dropdown.
To remove the commission rate(s), select the checkbox to the left of the commission rate(s) to use the Actions dropdown.
The Commission Rate List displays:

Modified Date | Date the commission rate was modified. This column is hidden by default. |
Entity ID | Entity ID for the commission rate. This column is hidden by default. |
Add New Commission Rate

Commission Rates are listed in the General area of the Commission Rates module.
To add a new commission rate:
From the upper-right of the Commission Rate List, select New Commission Rate.
From Create New Commission Rate, enter the following information:
Field Name
Description
Name
The commission rate name. Enter the name if the text field.
ID
The commission rate identifier (ID). Enter the ID in the text field.
Type
The commission rate type. Select from the dropdown menu.
Description
An optional field. Enter the commission rate description in the text field.
From Create New Commission Rate, scroll down to Commission Rate Rules.
From Commission Rate Rules, select from the major categories, minor categories, or the product item and enter the commission rate percentage amount in the corresponding text field. The rules are:

Select Major Category
All products under the Major Category share the commission rate.
Select Minor Category
All products under the Minor Category share the commission rate. The Major Category displays Varies.
Select Product Item
The commission rate applies to the product item only. Major Category and Minor Category display Varies.
From the upper-right of Create New Commission Rate, select Save to save the new commission rate or Cancel to delete the new commission rate.
