Slowpoke Vehicles
Vehicles taking longer than 1 minute, 30 seconds (90 seconds) to travel from the menu board to the pay window or pickup window are considered Slowpokes. Slowpoke vehicles are removed from the screen, and do not count towards completed drive thru events or average speed of service goals.
If a vehicle is in danger of becoming a Slowpoke, a warning bar appears above the vehicle. This warning bar is visible for 10 seconds before Drive Thru Director determines that the vehicle is a Slowpoke and removes the vehicle from the screen.
If a pay window or pickup window detection occurs while the Slowpoke warning bar is visible, the on-screen vehicle moves to the appropriate detection area, just as a typical drive thru event, and the Slowpoke warning bar is removed.
Note
Slowpoke standard defaults:
The standard Slowpoke time is 1 minute, 30 seconds (90 seconds).
The standard visibility time of the Slowpoke warning bar is 10 seconds.
These times are customizable, based on the request of the parent brand.
