Note
The order state and order fulfillment status are two individual entities. The order may have Closed state even if some items are not in Fulfilled status.
Drive Thru Only Flow
Some Drive Thru terminal scheme configurations require an order be paid at one terminal and served at another terminal. For this reason, it is necessary to keep the paid orders and the correspondent identification on the screen for the orders to be processed correctly.
Order Fulfillment Status Indication at POS
The order fulfillment status indications at the point of sale (POS) include the following configurations:
Orders with a fulfillment status other than Ready do not display any indications.
Orders with a Ready fulfillment status have a Ready indication on the Drive Thru screen. That means that the order can be paid and served.
Show Paid Orders
Configuration to show paid orders includes:
Fully paid orders created for the drive thru destination are displayed on the Drive Thru screen and Drive Thru Destination of the Saved&Suspended: Drive Thru orders screen.
Orders that have a Pay button next to them have not paid.
Orders that have a Serve button next to them have been paid and can be served to the customer.
Note
When a paid order is served, it is cleared from both the point of sale (POS) and Kitchen Video Screens.
A fully paid order cannot be reopened to add new or remove existing items.
A fully paid order that does not have a Fulfilled status can be served.
The Serve operation transitions the fulfillment status of the order, and its unserved valid items, to Fulfilled.
Required Settings
The Show paid orders feature is enabled by the setting Show Unfulfilled Paid orders for the Terminal Scheme. For the setting configuration steps, see Terminal Scheme - General in the Genius Product Documentation.
