Online Ordering | Additional Features
The Online Ordering API provides integrators with many additional features.
The following additional features have been added with Version 3.6:

Comment Items - Integrators can configure their system to allow customers to enter comments on orders, products, or modifiers, which orders will transmit to provide personalized instructions to kitchen employees. See the Comment Items topic for additional information.
Custom Modifier Builds - Integrators can offer custom modifier builds, which can either replace or augment the default and plain builds. See the Modify Items and Modifier Groups and Collections topics for additional information.
Item Availability - POS employees can update the availability status of individual menu items at their location, ensuring that the menu accurately displays the items available at each site. See the Item Availability topic for additional information.
Item Offer Components - Bundle components can include an offer question, allowing customers to choose an item for the bundle from multiple options in response to a prompt. See the Bundles and Bundle Components topic for additional information.
Menu Captions - Integrators can include a caption that will be displayed with a menu item. See the Products topic for additional information.
Modifier Categories - Integrators can create categories within modifier collections, organizing modifier groups within the collection into tabs for easy navigation on the menu. See the Modifier Groups and Collections topic for additional information.
Nesting Bundles - Bundle items support up to two levels of nesting, meaning that a bundle can contain another bundle as a child item and include all of that bundle's child items as well. See the Bundles and Bundle Components topic for additional information.
Nesting Menu Categories - Integrators can configure a menu structure with sub-categories nested within other menu categories. See the Menu Structure topic for additional information.
