Updated scanner input processing to not register any subsequent bar code scans until the current bar code scan is processed and the success dialog is cleared.

  1. This Package was built for the Store In Store (SiS) Concept locations for RBI. The build includes the same features as 2.110.0 with the addition of EAN barcode support.

  2. In the event that the Honeywell Scanner does not recognize EAN-13 barcodes, a scannable EAN-13 Enable barcode is provided.

    It has been placed in the same location as the HDS Package. Simply scan the barcode to enable EAN-13.

  3. Product_updates_1301133.xml adds the Manual Barcode button to the database. The button is placed on the MISC screen in the event that they have to manually scan a barcode.

  4. RBI Lab 130250 was manually updated on November 3, 2022.

  1. When downloaded to the POS or when INIT SCANNER is selected, the POS now restarts Fingerprints.

  2. When programming is download, the POS with the highest DeviceID is loaded first.

  3. Due to technical issues, the screensaver on the POS is disabled. It will be enabled in a future build.

  4. When Fingerprints or KDS is restarted, the ORS' is re-initialized and any displayed orders are removed.

  5. The Order Number on the ORS and POS receipt do not match. This issue will be addressed in a future release.

  6. To enable the DigiHub ORS (multiple devices), run the following product updates:

    • Product_updates_1301019.xml (adds ORS tables to DownloadTable)

  7. Timeouts on ORS:

    • Clear EXP KDS and Still Brewing Screen: 600 seconds (if not bumped by POS KDS bump bar).

    • Clear Now Serving Screen: 120 seconds.

    • These values can be changed in the ORSQueue table.

The option allows the POS to charge a premium price on Delivery orders performed at the POS or injected into the POS (excluding White Label).

VALUE Settings:

Default (if option does not exist), then no premium is applied.

To apply a percentage, the set the VALUE with the surcharge amount followed by %.

For example, if the VALUE is 10%, then the POS applies a 10 percent premium to all priced items.

To apply a set amount for each priced item, set the VALUE to the amount to charge.

For example, if the VALUE is 0.50, then the POS applies 50 cents to each priced item.

Special Notes for Fingerprints Release 2.97.0.0

If a site is upgraded to 2.97.0.0 and is then downgraded to 2.96.2.0, the POS will display POS Save Errors if the transaction contains Loyalty Card information. To address this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Close Fingerprints on the POS.

  2. Open Microsoft Studio Tool.

  3. Connect to the database of the register with issues.

  4. Expand XXXX_POS database.

  5. Right click on the OrderOnlineCoupons table and select Delete.

  6. A form will open showing the field that is being deleted. Confirm that OrderOnlineCoupons is the field being deleted.

  7. Select OK.

  8. Start Fingerprints on the POS again. See that Fingerprint 2.96.2.0 loads.

  9. Repeat steps 1-8 on all downgraded registers.
