Configure SMS Notification

To configure SMS notification, the venue staff must follow the process outline in the table. Note that each step is its own process.

Enable Twilio for Company

  1. Follow steps in Manage Service Subscriptions to enable the Twilio service.

  2. From the left menu pane of the Edit Twilio window, select Suite Catering.

    Nota

    If the Suite Catering service is not enabled for the company, the Suite Catering tab is invisible.

  3. Toggle Suite Catering Enabled to Yes to enable the service subscription for Suite Catering.

  4. Select Done to save the settings.

Enable Twilio for Suite Catering-Enabled Site

  1. Follow steps in Edit Services for Sites to enable the Twilio service.

  2. From the left menu pane of the Edit Twilio window, select Suite Catering.

  3. Toggle Suite Catering Enabled to Yes to enable the service subscription for Suite Catering.

  4. Select Done to save the settings.

Create Employee with Mobile Phone Number

Follow steps in Add Employee to add an employee with a mobile phone number.

Nota

Only phone numbers with type Mobile can receive Twilio SMS. Numbers typed as Business, Fax, Home, or any other non-mobile type will not trigger SMS sending.

Assign Employee to Suite

Follow steps in Create New Suite to create a suite and assign the employee to the suite as suite attendant.

Enable EDO SMS Notification

Follow steps in SuiteSpot EDO in Configure Ordering Settings to enable EDO SMS Notification.
