Ingredient Filters

From the Ingredient Filters page of the Kitchen Screen Settings editor, define filters for the Ingredient Summary Pane for this kitchen display. The defined filters determine the type of ingredients to display on the Ingredient Summary Pane.
From the Show Ingredients for Items dropdown, select the desired option:
Option | Description |
|---|---|
This Screen | Only display ingredients on the Ingredient Summary Pane for order items that are routed to this kitchen screen. |
Any Screen | Display ingredients on the Ingredient Summary Pane for all order items regardless of the kitchen screen to which the items are routed. |
From the Configuration Type dropdown in the Filters section, select the desired filter configuration type:

Basic Filter
The following describes how to define basic item filters for the kitchen display using the following forms:

Routing Categories
Only ingredients for order items that are assigned to the identified kitchen routing categories are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane. If no routing categories are identified, all order item ingredients are displayed regardless of the assigned routing categories.
To filter ingredients by routing category:
Locate the Routing Categories section.
Toggle Enabled to Yes to enable the filter.
Select Add Kitchen Routing Categories.
From the Add Kitchen Routing Categories window, select the applicable routing categories.
From the lower-right of the Add Kitchen Routing Categories window, select Add # Kitchen Routing Categories.
Product Tags
Only ingredients for order items with the identified product tags are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane. If no tags are identified, all order item ingredients are displayed regardless of the assigned product tags.
To filter ingredients by product tag:
Locate the Product Tags section.
Toggle Enabled to Yes to enable the filter.
Select Add Product Tags.
From the Add Product Tags window, select the applicable product tags.
From the lower-right of the Add Product Tags window, select Add # Product Tags.
Table Tags
Only ingredients for order items that are associated with tables that are assigned the identified Table Tags are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane. If no Table Tags are identified, all order item ingredients are displayed regardless of the associated table.
To filter ingredients by Table Tag:
Locate the Table Tag section.
Toggle Enabled to Yes to enable the filter.
Select Add Table Tags.
From the Add Table Tags window, select the applicable Table Tags.
From the lower-right of the Add Table Tags window, select Add # Table Tags.
Ingredient Tags
Only ingredients with the identified tags are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane. If no tags are identified, all order item ingredients are displayed regardless of their assigned tags.
To filter ingredients by tags:
Locate the Ingredient Tags section.
Toggle Enabled to Yes to enable the filter.
From the Condition dropdown, select the desired option:
Condition
Description
Only the Following Tags
Only display ingredients that are assigned the selected tags.
Excluding the Following Tags
Display all ingredients except for ingredients that are assigned the selected tags.
From the Ingredient Tags dropdown, select the applicable tags.
Destinations
Only ingredients for order items with the identified order destination are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane. If no order destinations are identified, all order item ingredients are displayed regardless of the order destination.
To filter ingredients by order destination:
Locate the Destinations section.
Toggle Enabled to Yes to enable the filter.
Select Add Destinations.
From the Add Destinations window, select the applicable order destination(s).
From the lower-right of the Add Destinations window, select Add # Destinations.
Order Sources
Only ingredients for order items from the identified order sources are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane. If no order sources are identified, all order item ingredients are displayed regardless of the order source.
To filter ingredients by order source (e.g. Mobile App, Web Site, POS terminal):
Locate the Order Sources section.
Toggle Enabled to Yes to enable the filter.
Select Add Order Sources.
From the Add Order Sources window, select the applicable order sources.
From the lower-right of the Add Order Sources window, select Add # Order Sources.
Item Sources
Only ingredients for order items that are associated with the identified Item Sources are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane. If no Item Sources are identified, all order item ingredients are displayed regardless of the associated Item Source.
To filter ingredients by Item Source:
Locate the Item Sources section.
Toggle Enabled to Yes to enable the filter.
Select Add Item Sources.
From the Add Item Sources window, select the applicable Item Sources.
From the lower-right of the Add Item Sources window, select Add # Item Sources.
Terminal ID
Only ingredients for order items that originate from the identified POS terminal IDs are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane. If no terminal IDs are identified, all order item ingredients are displayed regardless of the associated terminal ID.
To filter ingredients by terminal ID:
Locate the Terminal ID section.
Toggle Enabled to Yes to enable the filter.
Select Add Terminal IDs.
From the Add Terminal IDs window, select the applicable terminal IDs.
From the lower-right of the Add Terminal IDs window, select Add # Terminal IDs.
Advanced Filter
To define an advanced item ingredient filter:
From the Add Condition dropdown, select the desired ingredient property to filter:
Routing Categories
Product Tags
Destinations
Order Sources
Terminal ID
From the second dropdown, select the applicable condition for the selected property: Is OR Is Not.
From the Select Condition Value dropdown, select the specific property value to filter.
Select ADD.
Use the AND, OR, and () controls to the right of the ADD button to define relationships between multiple item ingredient filters.
Advanced filter examples:
Example | Description |

Terminal ID Is Reg1 AND Destinations Is Carry Out | Only ingredients for items entered at the terminal named Reg1 with an order destination of Carry Out will appear. |
Routing Categories Is Burgers OR Product Tags Is Burgers | Only ingredients for items with an assigned routing category of Burgers or order items with the product tag of Burgers will appear. |
Order Sources Is Not Mobile App AND Destination Is Not Dine In | Ingredients for items from any order source other than Mobile App that have been assigned any order destination other than Dine In will appear. |
Ingredient Tags
Only ingredients with the identified tags are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane. If no tags are identified, all order item ingredients are displayed regardless of their assigned tags.
To filter ingredients by tags:
Locate the Ingredient Tags section.
Toggle Enabled to Yes to enable the filter.
From the Condition dropdown, select the desired option:
