Genius POS with WEB-SRM Service Features List

For Certification 4.1 version, the following table lists the features supported and certified for the WEB-SRM along with the features that are not supported.

Training Mode.

Taxation is configurable for each item and supports:

  • QSR, GST, no taxes, and a combination of taxes per item.

  • Alcohol Tax included in the product price. A combination of alcohol tax with GST and QST.

  • Baked Goods Rule for taxation.

The proper tax configuration must be performed according to the legal requirements. See Revenu Québec Legal Requirements for more information.

Prices included QST and GST.

Taxes other than QST and GST are not included in prices.

Payment methods that can be configured for a company in Genius and can be used based on the client need, available devices, and payment platform subscription.

Each payment method should be mapped to WEB-SRM payment method to match the legal requirements. See Revenu Québec Legal Requirements for more information.

Payment Methods: Loyalty, Cryptocurrency, Coupon, and Digital Wallet.

Only paper receipts are certified.

Printed receipts follow legal requirements for information, notes, and QR code.

Email and SMS receipts are not certified currently, are not supported, and should be disabled.

The Business sector is Restaurant sector only.

Transportation Sector.

The subsectors of activity are Restaurant and Food Truck only.

Subsectors: frequent third-party, not subject to the measures.

Contacts, estimates, and package deals.

Using in Bars operating under bar license.

Type of Service are Counter Service, Operator Delivery, Table Service, and Ordering through a Digital Platform.

Split Orders and Combine Orders operations.

 

Transactions are transmitted to WEB-SRM.

Re-Tender: It is forbidden to re-tender orders with applied loyalty accounts, or change or apply the loyalty account during a re-tender operation. It is forbidden to apply or remove a Tax Exempt status during re-tender.

Offline Mode.

 

Adding tips, surcharges, and donations.

Automatic and manual gratuity is not supported and should be disabled.

Generate and print a User Report.

Sending a User Report by email.

New Refund Order, Refund Specified Amount, and Return for Retail features.

Multiple mandatory settings for a POS terminal or site.
