Report Data Parameters, Options, and Information
Customize reports through data parameters and options available through Classic Portal. The Report Header describes details about the report. For more information, see the list of topics:
Report Data Parameters
Customize reports through the following data parameters:

Not all options are available for all reports.
Report Site Selector
Select the specific site(s), manager(s), and/or district(s) to customize report data. Some reports allow multiple selections while others only allow a single selection.
To select a specific site, manager, or district:
Directly under the report name, use the Restaurant Selector dropdown to select the site(s), manager(s), or district(s).
Use the expanding menu arrows to view all available options. Available options appear in a hierarchy format, with the largest entity at the head.
Alternatively, use the Search field to locate a specific option.
Select the checkbox next to the site(s), manager(s), or district(s), to appear on the report.
Select Done.
Note
The available options are based on administrator-level configurations for the user and/or site.
Report View Type
The Report View Type determines the output format of the report data. The output of the Report View Type is dependent on the selected date range.
To select a View Type for a report:
Select the required data parameters for the report.
Select the date range before selecting the report view type.
At the top of the report screen, next to the title and above the Date Selector, select View Type.
Select a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly view. More information about View Type options are listed in the table below.
View Type | Description |
---|---|
Daily | Displays data in set time periods with a total at the end of the report. The default time period for the Daily View is 1/4 hour segments. Adjust the time period through the More Options feature. For more information, see Report More Options. |
Weekly | Displays data in weekly time periods with a subtotal at the end of each week and a total at the end of the report. |
Monthly | Displays data in monthly time periods with a subtotal at the end of each month and a total at the end of the report. |

The Report View Type option is not available for all reports.
Report More Options
When available, More Options offers optional additional data parameters. These optional data parameters instruct the report to display specific characteristics of the selected data.
To add optional data parameters to a report:
Select the required data parameters for the report.
On the right side of the report screen, directly below Run Report, select More Options.
Select additional data parameters.
Select Done.
Report Output Formats
Reports have a variety of output formats:
Selecting Run Report generates the report directly in the browser window with the option to export the data in PDF format. For more information, see Report Output Format: PDF.
To view or download a report in a format other than PDF, from the upper-right of the report panel, select the Run Report dropdown arrow.

Report Output Format: PDF
The default output format for reports is PDF (Portable Document Format).
To generate a report in PDF format:
Select the required data parameters for the report.
On the upper-right of the report panel, select Run Report.
View the PDF in the report panel of the browser.
To download the report, use the browser options located on the upper-right of the report panel. These options appear slightly different for each browser.
To print the report, if connected to a printer, use the browser options located at the upper-right of the report panel. These options appear slightly different for each browser.
Report Output Format: Text
The Text output format generates the report as a standard, unformatted text document that is recognized by most document viewers.
Select the required data parameters for the report.
On the upper-right of the report panel, select the dropdown arrow of Run Report.
Select Export as Text.
Report Output Format: CSV
Most reports are available in a Comma-Separated Values (CSV) format.
To export the report as a CSV file:
Select the required data parameters for the report.
On the upper-right of the report panel, select the dropdown arrow of Run Report.
Select Export as CSV.
In the CSV Format Options box, select the following:
CSV Quoting Options (Default: Standard)
Separator Options (Default: Comma)
Select Run Report.
Follow the system prompts to save the file.
Report Detail Header
The Report Detail Header displays information that identifies the report and the data.
The Report Name
The View Type, if available
The Site Number(s) for the data included in the report
The Date or Date Range of the report data
The Day of the Week, Day, Month, Year, and Time of the report request
