Inventory Locations

Portal → 4-Dot Menu → Data Management → Ordering Settings → Products → Inventory Locations

To create an inventory location:

  1. From the Inventory Locations homepage, select New Inventory Location.

  2. Define the following:

    Field

    Description

    Description

    Description of the location.

    Code

    Identification code for the location.

    Sequence Number

    Sequence number for the location.

    • This determines how locations are sorted on reports including physical count sheets.

    • Sequence the locations to reflect your store layout.

    Sublocations

    Add sublocations for this parent location.

    • A location hierarchy is helpful with sheet-to-shelf physical inventory counts.
