From the General page of the Terminal Scheme editor, define general settings for a terminal scheme:

Select the applicable business environment:

Table Service Restaurant

The available Starting View options include:

  • Custom Open Orders - View a custom Open Orders screen.

  • List View - View "Open" and "Awaiting Tip" orders in a list and perform advanced group actions on them.

  • Open Orders View - View "Open" and "Awaiting Tip" orders for each table. Select an order to perform actions on it.

  • Table Map - View a graphical map of the tables at the site. Select a table from the map to perform actions on it.

  • Wait List - View and manage the list of guests awaiting to be seated at a table.

Quick Service Restaurant

The available Starting View options include:

  • Custom Open Orders - View a custom Open Orders screen.

  • Drive Thru Orders - Tender drive thru orders entered by the order taker.

  • Open & Suspended Orders - Access "Open" and "Suspended" orders entered at other terminals and from other order sources.

  • Order Entry - Enter and Save/Total orders.

  • Table Map - View a graphical map of the tables at the site. Select a table from the map to perform actions on it.

  • Wait List - View and manage the list of guests awaiting to be seated at a table.

Retail Store

The available Starting View options include:

  • Custom Open Orders - View a custom Open Orders screen.

  • Open & Suspended Orders - Access "Open" and "Suspended" orders entered at other terminals and from other order sources.

  • Retail Order Entry - Enter and Save/Total orders.

Order Source

Order Source to associate with terminal scheme

Starting View

Select the preferred view to open when the terminal starts

The available options are determined by the selected Business Operation.

Order Ticket Header

Preferred header type for order tickets

The Standard header is typically used in QSR and TSR environments.

When Scanning Barcode for Open/Saved Order

Select the preferred screen to open when users scan the barcode of Open/Saved orders

Prohibit from Working Offline

Disable POS when offline

When offline, a notification and troubleshooting steps are displayed.

Show Unfulfilled Paid Orders

Include unfulfilled Paid orders on Drive Thru and Open and Suspended Orders screens

This setting is only applicable to:

  • QSR environment

  • Drive Thru order destination

Allow Default User

Include option to automatically login to POS as default user

Autologoff on Completed Actions

Automatically logoff user from POS once their respective order actions / functions are complete

This setting adds security in environments where multiple users share the same terminal.

Logoff Timeout on Completed Actions (seconds)

Number of seconds to wait after user completes their order actions before automatic logoff

This setting is only available when Autologoff on Completed Actions is enabled.

Show Clock In/Out on Sign In Screen

Include Clock In / Break In button on Sign In screen or landing page

Autologoff on Completed Actions

When Autologoff on Completed Actions is enabled for a terminal scheme, the user is automatically logged off after the user completes the following actions / functions:

Order Actions

  • Re-Print Receipt (not active orders)

  • Re-Print Refund Receipt

  • Re-Send to kitchen

  • Re-Tender (Full, not Partial)

  • Save

  • Save & Print

  • Suspend

  • Tender (Full, not Partial)

  • Update Tip

  • Void

Non-Sales Functions

  • Create Product Count Order

  • Create Refund Order

  • Create Waste Order

  • Refund Specified Amount

Other Functions

  • Clock Out

  • End of Day

  • Paid In / Out

  • Start Break

Nota

If the user cancels any of the identified order actions, the user is not automatically logged off.
