Cook List
The Cook List is an on-screen element that displays projected items and the quantity to cook. Items are organized by cooking method.
Items in the cook list display the following information:
Item Name
Quantity to Cook
Cook List Timer
Cook List quantities are based on the maximum quantity contained in a single-batch cook cycle. The Cook List displays as many requests as necessary to fulfill the projected quantity for the item.
For example, if Chef predicts twenty (20) items, but a single-batch contains only twelve (12) items, another request for the item appears on the Cook List. This means a total of two (2) requests for the same item appears on the Cook List, one for a full, single-batch of twelve (12) items, and another for a partial-batch of eight (8) items.
Cook List Item Statuses
Cook List items have two (2) possible statuses:
Status | Background Color | Amount Color | Description |
---|---|---|---|
To Cook | Light Gray | Dark Gray | The amount to cook is gray. |
Is Cooking | White | Blue | The amount cooking is blue. |
Cook List+ (Manual Edit)

From the Cook List on the left of the Main Screen, select the blue plus sign.
From the Add Item Manually menu, use the Ingredient dropdown to select an item.
Use the on-screen keypad to adjust the item quantity.
Quantity adjustments are limited to a single-batch cook cycle.

Alternatively, select Cancel to exit the menu.
Chef Cook List Events: Manual Load
By default, Cook List events, such as Manual Load and Cook List+, are not considered when calculating the earned Chef Grade. Zero (0) out of zero (0) points are earned for these events.
However, the Parent Brand may request that all Cook List events, including manual events, are included in the Chef Score. In these cases, when the kitchen team manually loads a pan or uses Cook List+, zero (0) out of two (2) points are earned for the event.
Including all Cook List events increases the total number of possible points, which may negatively affect the earned Chef Score.
