The following editors are available for the Product List:

Create a New Product

To create a new product:
Navigate to the Products area of Ordering Settings.
From the upper-right of the Product List, select New Product.
In the Formal Name field, type the product name.
In the ID field, type the product ID.
From the Item Type dropdown, select the product type.
From the Reporting area Major Category dropdown, select the major product category.
Alternatively, select New Major Category.
From the Reporting area Minor Category dropdown, select the minor product category.
Alternatively, select New Minor Category.
In the Product Tags area, select the Tags field to select the tags that apply to the product. To select multiple tags, select the field again.
Scroll to the Taxation area, then use the Product Tax Group dropdown to select the tax group.
Multi-site users: To the right of the field, select the globe icon to define values for each site.
Scroll to the Additional Information area, then in the Item Description field, type a detailed description.
In the Short Description field, type a short description.
If applicable, use the Alternate PLU area to add associated PLUs to the product.
In the Accounting area, from the Revenue GL Account dropdown, select the revenue general ledger account.
From the upper-right of the page, select Save.
Filter the Product List by Price

Filter the product list on the homepage of the Product List editor to quickly locate specific records.
To add the Price column to the homepage:
From the upper-right of the product list, select the column selector icon
.From the column selector, select Price .
Select Apply.
To filter the product list by price:
Under the Price column heading, select All.
Select the down arrow.
Select the desired filter method:
Amount - Filters the product list by a specified amount.
Range - Filters the product list by a specified range amount.
