Create a Site Tag

The Tag Manager tool manages the site tags that are used to label and filter the sites for the company.

To create a site tag:

  1. From the navigation menu on the right, select Xenial Home.

  2. From the navigation menu on the left, select Settings and Tools.

  3. From the Settings and Tools menu, select Tag Manager.

  4. From the Site Tag Manager, select Create Tag.

  5. In the Tag Name field, type the name of the tag.

    • Maximum of 50 characters (alphanumeric and/or symbols).

  6. (Optional) In the Description field, type a description of the tag.

    • Maximum of 2048 characters (alphanumeric and/or symbols).

  7. Select the Background Color field to select a background color for the tag:

    • Select the colored square to open the color picker.

    • From the color picker, select the desired background color, then select OK.

    • The HEX# for the selected color is displayed.

    • The default background color is black.

  8. Select the Text Color field to select a color for the tag text:

    • Select the colored square to open the color picker.

    • From the color picker, select the desired text color, then select OK.

    • The HEX# for the selected color is displayed.

    • The default text color is white.

    • A preview of the tag color selections is automatically displayed in the Preview Site Tag field.

  9. Select Save and Close.

Assign Tags to Sites

Xenial Portal Sites

To assign tags to one or more sites:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the sites to update.

  2. From the Actions menu, select Assign Tags.

  3. In the Tags to Add field, type the name of the tag.

    • If the tag already exists, select it from the dropdown list.

    • If the tag does not exist, select Add new to add the tag. The default background and font colors are assigned to the new tag.

  4. Select Add.

Remove Tag Assignments from Sites

Xenial Portal Sites

To remove a tag assignment from one or more sites:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the sites to update.

  2. From the Actions menu, select Unassign Tags.

  3. In the Tags to Remove field, type the name of the tag.

  4. From the dropdown list, select the tag.

  5. Select Remove.
