Time Periods

Xenial Cloud Portal Digital Menu Board Time Periods

Time periods are used to define a content schedule for XDMB displays. From the Time Periods homepage, view the following details about the existing time periods:

Column

Description

Name

Time period name.

Description

Time period description.

Display Layouts

Indicates the number of display layouts to which each time period is mapped.

Select the Display Layouts value for a particular time period to view the names of each mapped layout.

Last Update

Date/time the time period record was last updated.

Create Time Period

To create a time period:

  1. From the upper-right of the Time Periods screen, select Create Time Period.

  2. Define the following:

    Field

    Description

    Time Period Name

    Type a name of the time period.

    Description

    Type a description of the time period.

  3. From the upper-right of the Weekly Schedule section, select Add Entry.

  4. From the Entry popup, add a time period entry:

    • Select the day(s) of the week to schedule the time period.

    • From the Start Time field, select the clock icon to specify the start time of the time period.

    • Select Add Entry.

  5. Repeat steps 3-4 to add additional time period entries as needed.

  6. From the upper-right of the screen, select Save.
