Manage Xenial Portal Sites

Xenial Portal Sites

The Sites editor of the Xenial Portal is used to manage company site information including the site name, address, associated users, and service subscriptions of each site.

To create a new site, see Create a Xenial Portal Site.

To manage existing sites:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the site(s) to manage.

  2. From the Actions dropdown menu, select the action to perform. See Xenial Site Actions.

Xenial Site Actions

The following table describes the actions available from the Actions menu of the Sites editor. The available actions depend on whether a single site or multiple sites are selected.

When multiple sites are selected, only service subscriptions are available for edit. See Edit Services for Sites.

From the Users and Groups page of the site record, manage the users and user groups assigned to the site.

Assign one or more users to the selected site(s).

Use the Tag Manager to manage site tags.

Remove identification tags from the selected site(s).

Download the current Data Management configuration settings to the selected site(s).

Assign Users to Sites

To assign users to one or more sites:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the site(s) to update.

  2. From the Actions menu, select Assign Users.

  3. From the Add Users window, select the user(s) to assign to the site(s).

  4. Select Add [#] Users.

Add User Groups to a Site

Xenial Portal Sites

To add user groups to a site:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the site to update.

  2. From the Actions dropdown, select Edit.

  3. From the panel on the left, select Users and Groups.

  4. Next to the Add User button, select the downward arrow.

  5. Select Add User Group to open the Add User Group popup.

  6. Select the user group(s).

  7. Select Add.

  8. Select Save.

Remove Users and Groups from a Xenial Site

To remove users and/or user groups from a site:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the site to update.

  2. From the Actions menu, select View Users.

  3. From the Users and Groups page, select the users and/or user groups to remove from the site.

  4. From the menu bar, select Remove.

  5. When prompted to confirm the operation, select Delete.

Add Services to Sites

To add service subscriptions to sites:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the site(s) to edit. To select all sites, select the square to the left of the Site ID column heading.

  2. From the Actions dropdown, select Edit.

  3. From the panel on the left, select Services (if necessary).

  4. Select Add Service.

  5. From the Add Services window, select the service subscription(s) to add, and then select Add [#] Services.

  6. From the Services page, configure the service subscriptions. Services that require configuration are highlighted in yellow.

    • Select the vertical blue ellipsis on the row of the service, and then select Edit from the dropdown.

    • Complete the configuration form for the service, and then select Save to return to the Services page.

  7. In the upper-right of the Edit Sites screen, select Save to update the site(s) with the changes.

Activate a Service for Sites

To activate a service subscription for one or more sites:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the site(s) to edit. To select all sites, select the square to the left of the Site ID column heading.

  2. From the Actions dropdown, select Edit.

  3. From the panel on the left, select Services (if necessary).

    • The service subscriptions for the selected site(s) are listed.

    • The Assigned To column specifies the number of sites (out of the number of sites selected in step 1) where the service is activated.

  4. On the row of the service, select the globe icon in the Assigned To column. The Assign Sites window opens.

  5. On the row of each site, set the In Use toggle to activate or deactivate the service for the site.

    • Set the toggle to Yes to activate the service.

    • Set the toggle to No to deactivate the service. All related configuration information for the service is removed from the site.

  6. Select Save to return to the Services page.

  7. In the upper-right of the Edit Sites screen, select Save to update the site(s) with the changes.

To edit the service subscriptions for sites:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the site(s) to edit. To select all sites, select the square to the left of the Site ID column heading.

  2. From the Actions dropdown, select Edit.

  3. From the panel on the left, select Services (if necessary).

    • The service subscriptions for the selected site(s) are listed.

    • Services that require configuration are highlighted in yellow.

  4. Select the vertical blue ellipsis on the row of the service, and then select Edit from the dropdown.

  5. Complete the configuration form for the service, and then select Save to return to the Services page.

  6. Repeat steps 4-5 to configure each listed service.

  7. In the upper-right of the Edit Sites screen, select Save to update the site(s) with the changes.

Refresh Menu for Delivery Provider

To refresh the menu for a delivery provider for one or more sites:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the site(s) to edit. To select all sites, select the square to the left of the Site ID column heading.

  2. From the Actions dropdown, select Edit.

  3. From the panel on the left, select Services (if necessary).

  4. Select the vertical blue ellipsis on the row of the service, and then select Edit from the dropdown.

  5. Select Refresh Menu.

  6. When prompted to confirm the operation, select Refresh.

Remove a Service from Sites

To remove a service subscription:

  1. From the Sites homepage, select the site(s) to edit. To select all sites, select the square to the left of the Site ID column heading.

  2. From the Actions dropdown, select Edit.

  3. From the panel on the left, select Services (if necessary).

  4. Select the vertical blue ellipsis on the row of the service, and then select Remove from the dropdown. All related service subscription configuration is removed from the site.

  5. At the Remove Services prompt, select Remove to confirm the service removal.
