Create a Table Map

The defined table map is used at the Ordering application when assigning tables to servers in a Table Service environment.

To define the sections, table placement, and seat mapping:

  1. From the Xenial Portal, select Data Management.

  2. From the Ordering Settings menu, select Settings.

  3. Select Table Maps.

  4. Select New Table Map.

  5. In the Name field, type a name for the table map.

  6. From the Default destination for table orders dropdown, select the order destination default to assign to new orders.

  7. Set the Active toggle to Active if the table map is available for use at the site.

    • Multi-site users: Select the globe icon located to the right of the field to define values for each site.

  8. Open the Chart & Seat Map section to configure the seat map.

  9. Open the Sections section to configure the table sections.

  10. From the upper-right of the Table Maps editor, select Save.
