Add a Bundle Template

When configuring a bundled product, previously created bundle component templates can be added.

To add a bundle component template to a product:

  1. Locate the Bundles section of the Build page of the product record.

    • This section is only available when the Enabled toggle in the Bundle Configuration section is set to On.

  2. From the Add dropdown, select Add Bundle Template.

  3. From the Add Bundle Component window, select the desired bundle component templates.

  4. Select Add Items.

The Add Bundle Component window is populated with templates created using the Bundle Components editor, which is accessible from the Order Settings > Products menu.

Edit the Bundle Options

After adding a bundle template to a product, edit the bundle options as needed.

Note

Changes made to this component will only affect the current product being edited. The component template is not affected.

  1. In the Bundles section of the Build page, locate the bundle component.

  2. To the right of the component, select the vertical blue ellipsis.

  3. From the dropdown, select Override Bundle Component.

  4. From the Component Options window:

Edit an Item Component

To edit the properties of an item component of a bundle:

  1. In the Label field, type a name for the bundle component.

  2. Set the Enabled toggle to On if this component is currently available for the bundle.

  3. (optional) In the Description field, type a description of the component.

  4. From the Destinations dropdown, select the allowed order destinations for this component.

  5. From the Component Type field, select Single Item.

  6. Set the Mark as main toggle to On if this item is the main component of the bundle.

    • The main item component is hidden on the order item list when the bundled product is added to a customer's order.

    • This setting can only be toggled on for one item component per bundle.

  7. Select the Products field to choose the item.

    • From the Add Products to Bundle Component window, select the item.

    • Select Add 1 Item.

  8. Select Save & Close to save the record and close the Component Options form.

Edit a Group Component

To edit the properties of a group component of a bundle:

  1. In the Label field, type a name for the bundle component.

  2. Set the Enabled toggle to On if this component is currently available for the bundle.

  3. (optional) In the Description field, type a description of the component.

  4. From the Destinations field, select the allowed order destinations for this component.

  5. From the Component Type field, select Multiple Items.

  6. From the Select Items Using field, select the desired option. The selected option determines the method that is used to add products to this group component.

    • Specific Items - Select this option to choose specific items from the product list.

    • Use Tags - Select this option to use one or more tags. All items associated with the specified tag(s) are added to the product list for the component.

    • Both - Select this option to choose specific items and use tags.

  7. From the Products Tagged With dropdown, select the tag(s) to use. All items associated with the tag(s) are added to the product list for the component.

    • This field is not available if Specific Items was selected in the previous step.

  8. Specify the minimum and maximum quantities for this component in the Min and Max fields, respectively.

    • For example, if the Min field value is set to 2, then the customer must select two of the listed products for this bundled component.

  9. Select Add Products to choose the specific items to include on the product list. If Use Tags was selected in step 8, proceed to step 12.

    • From the Add Products to Bundle Component window, select the items.

    • Select Add # Items.

  10. The Products section lists the items included in this bundle component.

    • Use the controls to set the desired sequence for the items.

    • Set the Default Quantity field for each item to the quantity that is added to the customer’s order with this component by default.

    • Set the Enabled toggle to On if the item is currently available with this bundle component.

    • Select the X to remove an item from the list. If the item was added via tag, the item cannot be removed.

  11. Select Save & Close to save the record and close the Component Options form.
