From the XDMB Dashboard, view DMB site information and generate the share code that is used to link XDMB content to devices.
The following is provided for each listed site:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Site ID | ID assigned to the site. |
Site Name | Name of the site. |
Display Layouts | Number of display layouts mapped to the site. Select the Display Layouts value for a particular site to view the names of each mapped layout. |
Devices | Number of physical DMB devices used at the site. |
Reference the Status column to view the current health of the connected device(s) at the respective site. Select the Status column header to optionally filter the site list on the Dashboard by status indicator. The status indicators include:

Status
From the Status column on the Dashboard homepage, select the status indicator to view information about the connected devices and display assignments for each display layout at the site, and to access additional functions.

To the right of the name of each listed display layout, select the right arrow to view details about the devices assigned to the layout.
From the details window, open the 3-dot menu to the right of a device to access the following functions:

AnmerkungThe default frequency at which telemetry data is sent can be configured via the Distributor's API. From the menu pane on the right, select Device Screenshots to view and download screenshots from the last seven (7) days. From the upper-right, access the following functions:

Remove This Device | Remove the display assignment from the device and remove the device from the device list. |
Take Screenshot | Take a screenshot of real-time display content and view the content from the XDMB Portal. This function is only available when the device is online. |
Virtual Preview | View a virtual representation of the display content from the XDMB Portal. This content preview is not real-time. This function is available regardless of the online status of the device. |
Generate Share Code

A share code is a unique 5-digit code that is generated for a specific site and its device. A share code cannot be used to link devices at more than one site.
To generate a share code for a site:
From the site list on the Dashboard, locate the site.
From the row of the site, select the 3-dot menu.
From the popup menu, select Share Code. The share code is displayed.
Once generated, a share code is valid for 24 hours.
If the code is expired, select Refresh Code.
The Share Code function is disabled if a display layout is not assigned to the site.
From the Share Code window, select Close.
