Define Kitchen Screen Settings

The configuration settings for all kitchen screens are set to the default values that are defined using the General Kitchen Settings editor.

To define unique settings for an individual kitchen screen:

  1. (Optional) Select Select Sites to choose the site(s) to set up.

  2. Select Create Kitchen Screen.

  3. From the Choose Screen Type popup, select Basic.

  4. Select Continue to open the General page of the editor.

    • The page names are listed in the pane on the left.

  5. From the General page, define General Kitchen Screen Settings.

  6. From the Availability page, set the Active toggle to Active if the kitchen screen is currently available for use at the site.

    • Multi-site users: Select the globe icon located to the right of the field to define values for each site.

  7. From the Cells page, define Kitchen Cell Settings.

  8. From the Filters page, define Kitchen Screen Filter Settings. These filters determine the type of order items to route to this screen.

  9. From the Ingredient Filters page, define Ingredient Filter Settings. These filters determine the type of order item ingredients to route to the Ingredient Summary Pane.

    • If no ingredient filters are defined, the sum of all ingredients from all screens are displayed on the Ingredient Summary Pane.

  10. From the Sorting Rules page, define custom screen sort options. See Sorting Rules.

  11. From the Bump page, define options related to the bumping of orders from this screen. See Bump Settings.

  12. From the Recall page, define options related to the recalling of bumped orders to this screen. See Recall Settings.

  13. From the Audio page, define Audio Settings. These settings define the audio files to play when specific events occur on the screen.

Opmerking

The kitchen screen records created using the Kitchen Screens editor are available for selection when configuring stations using the Kitchen Stations and Kitchen Schemes editors.
