Create Site

To create a site from the Xenial Portal:
From the Sites homepage, select Create Site.
From the Custom Fields page, provide the custom field values setup for the company (if applicable).
From the upper-right of the screen, select Save.
Opmerking
From the Contacts page, reference the personal contacts for the company. To add or edit contacts, see Contacts.
Define General Settings for a Site

To define general settings for a site:
From the menu pane on the left, select General.
In the Site Details section, provide the following site details:

Description
Name
Site name.
Site ID
Identification code for the site.
Type
From the dropdown, select the site type:
Production - Site where guests are served.
Site-Lab - Site where lab testing is performed.
QA-Test - Site where software is tested before it is released to a lab.
Training - Site used for staff training.
The following site types are related to Xenial Venue Inventory (XVI) and are only available with an enabled XVI subscription:
Warehouse - Site where products are stored before export or sale distribution.
Vending Commissary - Site where hawkers load and reload salable products.
Suite Pantry - Site where suite catering products are stored.
Use EDM settings to update DM
Toggle Yes if site configuration is updated with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) via the Onboarding Lambda.
Do NOT enable this toggle if EDM is not used.
Website
URL for the website of the site.
Email
Email address of the site.
Support Phone Number
Phone number the site manager calls in the event issues arise that require assistance.
From the dropdown, select the desired value:
Use Company Settings - Use the phone number defined on the company profile. See Setup the Company Profile.
Custom - Specify a unique number for the site. In the Support Phone Number field, type the site-specific support number.
Preferred Language
From the dropdown, select the preferred language to enable users to more efficiently interact with the application.
Skip the Site Hierarchies section. Once the site is created, it can later be added to Site Hierarchies.
In the Location section, specify the location, phone number, and time zone for the site.
In the Aliases section, select +Add New Alias to add an alias key and value for the site (if applicable).
In the Identifiers section, specify tax identifiers for the site. The tax identifiers are printed on customer receipts in compliance with the tax legislation for the country or province.

Description
Federal Tax
Type the site identifier for Federal Taxes. For example, the registration number for GST/HST levied by Canada Revenu Agency.
State/Province Tax
Type the site identifier for State/Province Taxes. For example, the registration number for QST levied by Revenu Quebec.
Add Services to a Site

To add service subscriptions for a site:
From the menu pane on the left, select Services.
From the upper-right of the Services screen, select Add Service.
From the Add Services window, select the service subscriptions.
From the lower-right of the Add Services window, select Add [#] Services.
Configure Services
Services that require configuration are highlighted in yellow. To configure service subscriptions:
On the row of the service, select the vertical ellipsis.
From the dropdown, select Edit.
Complete the configuration form for the service.
Select Save.
Customize Roles for a Site

To customize employee roles for a site:
From the menu pane on the left, select Role Overrides.
From the Role Overrides page, select Add Role Override.
From the Choose Role to Override window, select the role to customize.
Select Continue to open the Role Options page.
In the Role Override Description field, type a description of the customized role.
From the menu pane on the left, select POS to view the POS role permissions.
Next to each permission category on the POS Overrides page are two numbers in parentheses. The first number is the number of permissions that are currently enabled. The second number is the total number of permissions that exist in that category.
Drill down/expand a category to view the subcategories and the individual permissions in that category (where applicable). A description of each subcategory and individual permission is displayed in the Description column.
To enable a permission, toggle Allowed to Yes.
Select Done.
Notes about Roles
Next to the category name, toggle Allowed to Yes to enable ALL the permissions in that category.
in the upper-right of the screen, select the vertical ellipsis to perform the following:
Expand All - Expand all the listed permission sections.
Collapse All - Collapse all the listed permission sections.
Enable All Permissions - Enable all the listed permissions.
Disable All - Disable all the listed permissions.
Enable View Only Access - Set all the listed permissions to "View Only".
Set All to Role Default - Set all the permissions to the default value for the role.
In the upper-right of the screen, select Undo Last to undo the last operation.
